Your contribution

• A central part of your work is the strategic, conceptual and methodological development of the Center of Digital Technology. You will be actively supported by dedicated members of our management team. 
• You actively influence the development and success of your team – you are responsible for the technical leadership and promotion of your employees
• As Head of you will pass on your professional and methodological expertise to our Consultants and Technology Experts.
• In the client mandate, you contribute to the success of our projects, alone or with your team or in cooperation with other teams.

• You have successfully completed your university studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or another MINT degree program or have comparable professional experience.
• Ideally, you have initial experience in leading and developing teams.
• You convince as a technical leader, your are conceptually strong, analytically well structured and able to discuss facts at different organizational levels and present them to the target group.
• A pragmatic approach and the talent to get the best out of every situation are part of your competencies.
• You have experience as a Software Architect, Cloud Solution Architect, Data Architect, Data Engineer, Cloud Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer or a comparable role.
• You have experiences with different cloud providers and know how to implement cloud-native applications.
• It motivates you to actively shape a successfully growing company.
• You have an acceptance-creating personality with good communication skills.
• A respectful, appreciative interaction with people at all levels of work, even in difficult situations, are a matter of course for you.
• In addition, willingness to travel as well as fluent German and English skills in spoken and written round off your profile

• A completed degree in (business) computer science, (business) engineering, natural sciences / economics or comparable training
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• An acceptance-creating personality with good communication skills
• Task-oriented and well structured analytically
• Independent work and a high degree of reliability, commitment and flexibility
• Enjoyment of technical challenges and pragmatic solution ideas
• You are familiar with the DevOps stack and your tools include, for example:
  • Build and configuration management (e.g. Git, Maven, npm, Nexus)
  • Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (e.g. Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, Sonar, GitLab)
  • Container technologies and orchestration (e.g. Docker / Kubernetes)
  • Cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, but also AWS, GCP, Openstack, Openshift)
• Respectful, appreciative interaction with people at all levels of work, even in difficult situations
• Good language skills (German and English required)

Your contribution

• Support in setting up or expanding cloud infrastructures in the Azure context in order to generate benefits for our customers, e.g. making IT systems more flexible / reducing downtime / increasing release cycles / increasing quality
• Development and co-creation of a new DevOps team together with one of our senior managers
• Advising our top customers on cloud architectures, cloud migrations, DevOps for Microsoft Azure
• Analysis of business use cases and technical solution design as the basis for cloud-native scenarios in Azure
• Project management and participation in transformation projects, technical quality assurance
• Support in the design and provision of scalable, highly available cloud designs and presentations for customers
• Collaboration in the selection of the best possible cloud service based on the requirements of the customer and our shared experience, as well as good practices

• A completed degree in (business) computer science, (business) engineering, natural sciences / economics or comparable training
• Several years of practical experience with MS Azure Cloud
• In-depth experience in consulting and developing available, cost-effective and scalable solutions on MS Azure
• Extensive experience in at least one of the following technology areas:
  • DevOps
  • Infrastructure as Code
  • AI & machine learning
  • Big Data & Analytics
  • Platform design
  • Hybrid cloud scenarios
  • Cloud migration projects
• Certificate as Cloud Architect or Azure Specialist is desirable
• Good experience in working on migration projects for data centers and applications
• Respectful, appreciative interaction with people at all levels of work, even in difficult situations
• Good language skills (German and Englisch required)
